# Introduction

This tutorial demonstrates joint electromagnetic and gravitational-wave parameter estimation for a galactic binary source with [Eryn](https://github.com/mikekatz04/Eryn).

The notebook simulates a gravitational-wave signal with [GBGPU](https://github.com/mikekatz04/GBGPU), models the electromagnetic light curve, and combines both channels in a joint EM-GW likelihood.
